My 01 srx with 9 tooth drivers is geared down one tooth and hits around 100 on loose snow no thanks to the m10. What do you think my new top speed would be with 8 tooth drivers? Thanks.

I trail ride and it's rare I see 80 mph in a given season. I care more about acceleration than top speed. I'm going to try it before I change my gearing it's 23/40 right now.
Can I ask why you want to change to 8 tooth drivers? they make it harder to turn the track and unless your studding a big lug track say 1.25" or larger?? you can run up to a 1.75" lug track on 9 tooth drivers. BTW_ your speedo will be way off going to 8 tooth drivers as well, your gonna need a speedo drive trans off a mtn max.
