When running my viper this past weekend, it would bog down on the low end. I could clear it out and do high speed runs just fine, but down on the low end coming off a good rip, it would bog when i tried to take off again. Sounded like it was running on 1 or 2 cyl and not all three. You could clear it out by blipping the thottle.
I changed plugs and it went away for a few hours now it's doing it again. Could this be a carb that is gummed up? a sensor somewhere? I would really like to try to fix this myself.

I would start with a good carb cleaning, paying paticular attention to the pilot jets and the fuel screw settings.

try unhooking your throttle over ride switch
tors
its 2 wires located down by your carb thats next to your pull cord assembley
disconect the 2 of them and plug them into each other
i can almost gurantee that its the problem...sounds like the same problem i had last year.
