master cylinder on handlebars?

Is there a thin, flat, black, rubber gasket that goes between the metal master cylinder cover and the white platic piece that sits inside the diaphragm? I started the sled with all the pieces on the air filter and think the rubber gasket fell down into never-never land.

By that pic...it looks like {first} black, rubber diaphragm goes inside cylinder then {second}white plastic piece goes inside diaphragm.... then {third} metal cover goes over white plastic piece. No rubber gasket between metal cover and white plastic piece? is that accurate? Is that 3rd piece down the white plastic piece or the rubber diaphragm that goes inside the cylinder? From the looks of it, on the diagram on Yamahas parts site, part #18 includes the cover and the gasket. I could be wrong. Have you had yours apart before or just going by what is on the diagram?

Without pulling the cover on my own cylinder, I don't think there's a gasket in there - the metal cover, white plastic piece, expandable diaphragm is all there is.

I haven't had mine apart either but there it's a good chance that he diaphragm acts as the 'gasket', like in most car master cylinders. Yamaha seems pretty good with their parts blow-ups, so if there was a gasket in the lid, it would show it.

Disregard. No gasket. I went down to my local dealer today and cross referenced on another machine. Thanks for the responses fellas.
