i had a problem with my viper yesterday iwas getting an 8 flash code that was also flashing my gas gauge. i pulled the wiring harness right out and there were no rub through marks at all.i covered the harness anyway just to be safe later on. the problem was 2 broken wires on the gas gauge sender. a quick solder job and some heat shrink and we are good to go. the factory cable ties cut the wires right through. thanks to mr viper 700 for his help checking this out.. thanks to all for this forum!!!!!!!!!!!
