94-96 V Max TSS shock compatibility?

Hey folks,

are the TSS front shocks all the same part # for the 94-96 Vmax?

In other words, will a 94 TSS shock work in my 96 Vmax? Is it the same thing?

Anyone have a clue? I checked the fiche and compared the two, but I can't tell for sure from those drawings.

Need to replace one of mine, and I have a line on a '94, but I'd like to know for sure before I pony up the bux.

Depending on the model a 96xt 600 had a adjustable dampener on the top of the shock and the 94-95 and i believe 96 non xt models were not adjustable, go to yamaha micro-fiche and cross reference part numbers to the years of sled your swapping parts with for compatibility....CP
