The silencer on my '01 sx-r 700 is getting noisier and I can hear something rattling around in there which I figure is'nt a good sign.Anyways I priced a new stock one, 447 bucks ouch huh?So I am thinking of an aftermarket replacement and my first thought is slp. That company seems to have a good reputation, they claim something like 8.5 lb. weight savings and 3 hp increase. What do you guys think, would this be a good choice? If you have run this silencer or others your input would be greatly appreciated,I just don't want it too loud ,but would like to save some money here if possible, thank again,Josh

Thanks Rich, I bought a ripsaw from you down at Novi and that track rocks .I have no desire for studs with that track.Do you carry slp products and how much? Also, will I lose much power, some on here have said some cans have slowed themdown. Is it much louder than stock?Ijust don't want my ears ringing at the end of the day, my stock can is getting that way now.Sorry for so many questions.

slp can =$230 shipped.most cans you dont gian anything besides weight lose.they say 6 1/2 lbs for the slp.they are pretty quiet.i had a mbrp on my 700sx and it was loud but that was used and packing was blown out.
