yammy handguards

anyone ever try these yamaha handguards out? wondering how the fit and finish is and how well they'll go on the viper.

I looked em' over real good on a Nytro but decided to use the Powermadds with the Rox mounts. I felt they (Yammy ones) were a little to small as far as wind coverage was concerned. I have the extensions for my Powermadds which allow me the option of extra coverage. I haven't ridden in real cold weather yet, but mine help considerably. I can wear much thinner gloves and found I was turning the warmers down lower. Keep in mind I have aluminum bar ends which rob heat as well. Do a search, I had pics up awhile back.

rider -- i checked out your handguards on the other thread and they look real nice. where did you get them and do they hit your windshield? i only have a 1" riser.

I ordered mine right from Roxspeedfx.com. I have a 2" riser and mine clear fine with my low windshield. Not sure what you would run into with a 1" riser and higher windshield. There is some adjustability with the mounts depending on how you configure them.
