OK guys, here is the "deal". I broke the front w-arm and had to replace. Upon re-assembling the skid, I had to undo the front limiter straps pull the w-arm up slightly to align and install front shock. Then I had to compress the front shock slightly (shock installed, hooked up to w-arm and skid) to get the limiter strap eye bolts back in place to where I could catch some thread with the jam nut.
Is this normal? It would seem that it is by design, to prevent the shock from "topping" out. I carefully checked the rest of the suspension and everything seems in order. I had the skid out this fall and replaced all the bushings. I had to do this when re-assembling the skid, before the w-arm broke also. Is something else out of wack?
Thanks!
