how do you clean the power valves on a 98 srx 600 never did't and they need to be done help me out please

In short, do them one at a time so u always have one to go by. Take one out, which u will need a allan style socket set.(two bolts) Spray them down with parts cleaner and gently scrape the resin/sticky stuff off with a razor blade them spray them again with parts cleaner and wipe them as clean as u can with a rag. Its really easy and cheap to do so good luck and get r done!

While they are out and the exhaust is off, it would be a good time to adjust those valves.
