Anyone with a pair of front heat exchanger guards that they would like to sell, please let me know, i've decided to put studs in a ripsaw on my 02 viper, and the guy who owned the sled before me took the guards and the tunnel protectors out, i bought some tunnel protectors but im looking for some front heat exchanger guards. Yup, thats it. Chris Moores old Viper. That thing just plain rips for a Viper. Plus she's always been maintained to a T. He is a good friend of mine. I can check with him and see if he still has the front protectors if you want. Let me know.

Viper Front Heat Exchanger Protector
The original front heat exchanger protectors were welded on the 2002 Vipers. Once cut off, they are very hard to replace. Usually to short after being cut off, and they need to be welded back on. I have done this to mine after cutting them off last year to run an unstudded Ripsaw. I have since switched to a predrilled Hacksaw with Woody's studs. You may want to try the protectors listed for a Venom on page 29 of the 2005 accessories catalog.
They rivet on. Part # 8dy-2197e-00-00 I have not tried these, but think that they may work. They are pricey, 59.25 EA, you need (2). The type listed for most sleds us the type with a round peg on the top where you drill into the tunnel. They are too short to use on a Viper.
