Does anyone know if there are any issues using a pair of 90/100 watt H4 bulbs in a Viper head lamp? I bought a pair of the Ultrawhite offroad 90/100 watt H4 Xenon bulbs from Summit Racing. You can never have too much light at night on the trail......

Thanks, G.B.

just from the wattage difference between those and the stock ones id put some LED bulbs in the tail light just to play it safe.

Thanks Maim. That's a good idea. I am a little concerned with the addition of a heated shield and these 90/100 watt bulbs if I am going to tax the alternator or melt some wires.

I went with bluhm brite lights. dimmed with no accesories (heated shield etc) so I went and got some led tails. works fine now :) go led for sure

just a heads up , everybody coming head on with you at night is going to bright ya , then you can light them up , its the only thing wrong with the 90/100 is on low beam your brighter then a stock high beam ....

My dealer suggested keeping a standard bulb in the left side and the 90/100 on the right. Helps the guys coming at you and still throws the extra light off to the right.

are you guys running clear or red led taillights??? i was thinkin red bulb red lens would be pretty dark....???????

I have a clear bulb with the stock lens, and it sucks. half as bright as stock AT BEST! really need the red bulb in the back for it to be bright enough to see. my wife and father both thought my taillight wasnt working with the clear bulbs in there!
