Can anybody help me with a good clutch set up on my 02viper with new type hauck tripple pipes?
A guy recomended this set up: hauck orange primary spring, 8dn10 weight from 2002 srx, yamaha silver secondary spring and 50/45 helix.
This set up is very expensive her in norway so it would be fine if any of you have some ideas how to make a good set up as cheap as possible. (thinking on a set up without changing the weights)

those are the right two springs and the helix hased to bo close be sure to get the right load on the silver seconday dont be scared to let the motor sing

I suggest you PM SRXMAGIC on this site for a set up. I don't think you will be able to use the 8EK's that are in there and probably not the helix either. You might get away with the primary spring and MAYBE the secondary spring too. Good luck.

2002 srx uses 8dn20's not 10's

Sorry, ment 1999srx (8dn10 with 3,1 gram weights in both holes) aprox 9000rpm in combination with hauck orange, yamaha silver secondary and 50/45 helix if i remember right...
He told me that this set up really rocks and that sled with this set up + hauck husher was equal 2000-2002 srx 700 (same performance)
He also told me to disconnect the carb vent hose from air filter box and use 150-151 main jets.
