Thanx guys :)

It also got a 38mm cam belt, so it actually works outside slopes too ;)

The linkage arms has some damage as you see, so i will buy new ones when the money allows it. but for now, they just have to do the job for a while longer :) They have been repaired, and made stronger, but i dont like them making my sled look old and abused..

Really nice color man!. Welcome to the site:).

PS, I already saw your sled in the forum at scooternorge.no :).

great job on the looks

jamie

I bought the sled in this condition a couple of weeks ago, so i can not take credits for any of the mods hehe.. But i know how he`s done them!

The coulor is painted by the last owner, that works as a car painter.. I`ts a very expensive colour, and i think you can buy it from http://www.hokpaint.com/ .. The rest is spraying tecniques i think..

The track is a Polaris  307x38x38 .. It fits right onto the sled, without modifications, if i understood him corectly..

I have thought of doing that to mine as I sell the stuff, but might do a candy orange. I sell Dupont automotive finishes,as well as HOK(house of kolor) paint. Ther are 36 different chromlusion colors in the Dupont line. It's very easy to spray. Just put down a black basecoat first, followed by which ever zirallic colored pigment you want. You can leave it like that and clear it, or put a pearl over the top for a different effect. There are some that only flop a couple of ways, and ones like this that flop to all the colors in the spectrum.
I did my little guy's pinewood derby car in one similar to this one, and he won best of show. He was really proud. It's pretty cool, but there is some cooler stuff coming out in the second qtr of this year. We just did a custom finishes clinic a few weeks ago and showed the new stuff. The customers really gave some good feedback.
Is is pretty expensive, somewhere around $370.00 a pint. And they say the new stuff is priced about like cocain. LOL
Nice sled. Welcome to the best sled site on the net.

My buddy put that style of paint on his Arctic Cat, but with green accents.

Paint is almost douple standard paint. (base coat/clear coat!)

That is very cool. But my question is on the third photo it looks like a gaint rock faced mountain behind the houses. Is that what i am seeing ??
Welcomet to TY.

yup.. Pic is taken outside my house, at approx 20m above sea level.. I live in a valley surrounded by 1500m+ mountains... :)

Only problem is that they are so steep, that you have to use climbing gear to go up there hehe.. A car and trailer for the sled is needed to go up in the mountains in other words..

Oh, one more problem.. it`s 100% unlegal to ride in the mountains here in norway :(

"it was`nt me" :D
