what cylinder runs the hottest!

:twisted: I was wondering which cylinder runs the hottest? Had to adjust fuel screw on mag side to richen it,pto side was black leaned it but asked someone the other day what side runs hotter and he said pto so which side is it? all look good now and the same just wondering thanx. 2002 viper forgot it's original gasket if that makes a difference in cooling. ran this way all year no problems but you never know. :twisted: :twisted:
 
Mag cylinder runs hotter on a Viper. Sometimes I will run the mag 1/2 position richer on the needles, depending on ambient temps and plug color.
 
On yammies usually the mag, unless you run pipes on a single piped sled then the centre cylinder can get nasty lean.
 
:twisted: So I guess I will say mag RIGHT? Because it did seem to me the mag was hotter reading what the plugs were showing. Thanx for the reply's.I do run slp's and it does seem that the mag is hotter, I should go and test again in 1/4 throttle then half and then full again to make sure maybe worried for nothing because this thing is running really well. :twisted: :twisted:
 
personally you should treat each cylinder seperately as the carbs.....youcould follow other specs but they are never tight for your conditions.....jet each carb till each plug looks good....
