I just bought a can from mbrp and nothing lines up. The cam hit the recoil and the bracket dosen't line up to anything. Anyone else have this problem? Any solutions? Thanks

i bought the trail can and its the same problem,it is very close to the recoil
but the recoil cover is made of aluminium so i think its no problem, the can
is also very close to the belly pan side,so im afraid it will melt the bellypan.
the bracket fits perfect on my sled, what model do you have?/max

My sled is a 99 sx600. Mine rests right up against the recoil and I think with the vibration it may wear a hole in either one. I e-mailed mbrp to see what they think about the problem. I will post their reply

Mine rubbed the recoil housing too and wore it a bit, as for the mountin bracket, I drilled a new hole to make it lign up better, not what should be done with a new peice of equiptment but it had to go on!!!!!!
