Hey all just became owner of a 2002 viper er with 525 miles today. Question is , How can I best adjust the suspension to suit my riding style. I ride mostly aggressive trail style and weigh 170. Whats the best way to try and dial her in.-Dave
All we need now is snow.

Dave, Congrats on the new sled. Does it have the update or the original shocks? If its the original (stiffer) shocks then try this.

Its what Yamaha recommends to soften the ride. It works great...I set up my 110# wifes Viper following these recommendations and it rode WAY better.

its still the old style. I'll try their directions and see how it goes. It has to be better than my 90 wildcat. lol!
Congrats Dlange... I'm in the same boat. I have a 2002 Viper that I purchased this past fall with only 500 miles on it and I'm working on setting up the suspension to fit my style as well. I don't know if there's much we can do with the current stiff shocks, but I guess it's worth a shot. I plan to have mine revlaved next year.
Keep me posted if any of the above bulletin adjustments work and I'll do the same.

Great
I am glad that you are now a viper owner. One thing that I found that was very useful was to put on hyfax and studs on when I bought my viper new, but in your case, it might have come with the studs and hyfax. Later on, i put on mirrors
