Well it looks as though our sledding season here in southwestern NB has come to a schreeching halt as it's raining again today and what little snow we had is all but gone. But anyway I am looking to add a pivoting bar riser to my SRX and wondered if there was a longer throttle cable available from Yamaha?I'm not going too tall with the bars only 2-3 inches but would like some feedback from those who've done this so I know what kind of problems to look for, enough slack in the brake line & parking brake cable etc.Thanks.

Riser
I put a 2 inch Rox Riser on my 2000 SX700r and it didnot require an extension to any cable. I think there still may be enough slack to go to 3 inches, but not much more than that.
The Rox Riser is an easy install, and it will fit any sled with 7/8 inch handle bars.

We put 1" riser blocks on our srx's and all is ok. I didn't want to go any taller because the throttle cable might not be able to be stretched that far, so I didn't try it. 1" did make an improvement over stock.

Risers
I am 6' and that is exactly why I put 2" on. I still like to ride sitting on smooth trails, but when I am standing the 2 inches gives me the extra height to stand confortably over moguls.
There are throttle extensions cables, but I am not sure where to get them. Since the throttle and oil pump wiring is similar, I would think purchasing two throttle extension cables could work with both throttle and oil cables.

Bar riser
Thanks to all that have replied so far, your input is greatly appretiated. The Rox style riser is what I'm leaning toward for the adjustment capability,it looks to be about 2" alone without any other block installed.I currently have a 3/4 riser installed but it's just a bit short yet.
