Is this all you would have to do to make the 2002 srx into a 2001 electronics wise? I see the cdi's are the same part number.

The CDI's are a different part number, there is an error in the Yamaha online microfiche.

on the srx's its easy, the 98-99 are the same, the 2000,2001,2002 are all differnt, they WONT interchange, the connectors are all differnt for the differnt years. So in order to use a differnt year cdi box then your sled if a 2000-02, you need the entire wiring harness to go with it......ouch

No performance differences between the 00, 01, or 02. They all have the same timing curve, powervalve opening sequence, etc. The 00, 01, and 02 do have different plug-in's on them and won't interchange though.
