Has anyone tried to duct cool air to the belt & clutches to combat the heat generated by aggressive setups?I thought about trying to louver my belt gaurd like the Ski Doo ones for some added cooling but don't want to screw it up either.I don't know of any aftermarket kits for such an application but wondered if anyone has gotten real creative and found something that works. :?:

There is an aftermarket kit sold that works very well. I will look up the name for you and post it.

Tri-City Polaris offers one for the RMK's that is advertised to drop clutch temp as much as 40 degrees. I would give them a call to see if you could retrofit it to your sled. They may also give you pointers on how to make your own. Basically a ducted fan gets placed on top of the clutch guard that blow cool outside air from the duct down onto the clutches. An exhaust vent is then place such that there is good air flow.
