Just curious. Dad ripped his bicep through at work a couple of years ago (lost 70% of his strength), so a little bit wider bar would help him for some of our longer rides. I had him on the viper and he noticed that it was much easier on a longer day. Is it pretty straight forward to switch the bars?
Sorry think i should have put this in the Vmax, SXR, SX, etc. section. Sorry about that.

The bars on both sleds are 7/8. You may want to look at some motocross bars too, as they run wider, and offer different pullbacks as well.
Skis
I think the easier steering on the viper also depends on the skis, maybe to change skis would help him. The viper skis is much easier to steer than older plastic skis srx/sx-r or steel skis.

my steering got stffer on my sxr when i put the viperskis on. got some of it back when i shimmed my skis as per the tec section. mine already had the wide yamaha bars.

I tried some other ski's on it when I used to ride it (vx 301's). They didn't help much for making the turning easier but they make you feel much safer in the corner than the old steel ski's. Myabe I will try shimming them. Thanks for the help. As usual you all are the best around!!!
