I`m out of ideas..
I am going to replace one of the clutch plates, in my primary clutch.. The one with the wheights mounted to it..
How the h*ll do i do this?? How do i split the clutch, to get to the plate?
The nearest solution i have thought of, and tried a little, is to try to unscrew the plate nearest the engine, because it looks like it is screwed on to the main bolt/cylinder or what i should call it.. But it was`nt moving at all, even though i used a long arm to force with..
Am i doing this wrong?
PLEASE help me, so i can try my new sled I have only been riding it for 1,5 hours since i bought it, so i am exited to get this back in.. hehe

it takes a special tool dude!the clutch back is bolted to a table or bench and the tower is turned counter clock wise with a tool that goes over the 3 ramps and has a long arm to give her hell.

Unless you want to buy or make the tool, you're gonna have to bring it to your dealer. It'll only take them 5 or 10 mins.
ok, i guessed it was something like that..
i made a plate, bolted it to the back clutch plate, welded a 12mm bolt to it and used a long tube on the bolt, to twist the plate with.. but it sure is stuck...
My nearest dealer with this kind of equipment, is so far away that i have got to send the clutch to them in mail..

Apply lots of heat to the center area of the inner (fixed) sheave.

Also, clean the old loctite from the threads, apply new loctite and torque to 145 ft/lbs
Ok thanks guys..
I`ll try to heat it up, but it`s aluminium, so i have to be careful you know hehe
At least now i know i was doing it right, so i will give it another try before i send it away..
Thanx!

Heat and a long enough arm, sure was the trick!
Thanks everyone!
