Turk or mrviper can you tell me what the difference is between your 2 set-ups. 98 srx 700 stock primary and secondary. Do not want to spend money on roller rooster. I do mostly trails and some lake short drags, of course I would need it to be perfect at both, just kidding. 210 lbs [donuts] total I usually ride with my 5 year old. Thanks to all for any insight.

8bu-00 with 51/43 for short blasts & with a green at 80 twist it backshifts fine on hardpack snow. Get a used RX-1 helix; they work fine.

Turk:
I have a 99 Srx for the little lady. I also have a 03 shorty RX1. The clutches that are on the Srx are stock. The clutches on my RX are not they match the ECP kit. In your opinion what adjustments will i have to make to put the stock helix from the RX on the SRX?

turk and mrviper told me a www primary spring, load up the some 8dn20s from an 00-02 SRX with (2) 4.5 gram rivets each, green secondary spring with your rx-1 helix(51/43) wrapped between 70 and 80 degrees depending on your track, weight, snow conditions, its supposed to really wake up the sled.

I was just reading your post in TY 4 stroke classifieds. Do you have any of the mentioned parts without the helix of course.

They both work well. 89a-10.s are a little meatier & can be made to pull hard but 8dn-20,s backshift better. 8dn-20 is a good over all weight....Polaris profile & easy to tune.

89a10 is what is used in the Hauck #4 clutch kit for the srx. They do work well.
