Hey guys, as some of you have read I just installed the viper suspen. on my 99 srx and it looks great. The only question I have is what can I do to widen the front. I'm not interested in spending 300.00+ dollars for the max performance kit but is it as simple as getting viper or sxr radius rods. Anyone lookin to get rid of some of there stock stuff? :yam:

Royal Distributing in Canada (www.royaldistributing.com) has a ski widening kit on page 237 of their catalogue. It looks like a bracket mounts to the ski leg and the radis rods bolts to the bracket giving 2.5'' more width. I believe all related hardware comes with the kit, shock mount, sway bar mount, and turning rod mount. It dosen't give any more travel just width. At $214.95 Canadian it should be a good deal for you Yanks. Here is Royals toll free phone # 1-800-265-2970

I have that kit on my sled right now. Really impressed with the way it handles now, rarely any ski lift anymore in corners and feels stable, but doenst loose any ability to be nimble.

Only complaints so far is that it also lowers your sled, so every big bump in the trial, the skiplate will smash into the ground, which did happen to before the kit, but more exaggerated with the kit on. Looking at getting longer shocks or some sort of kit out there that will jack up the suspension

Yeah, Id love to see what it looks like on your srx. With the long travel lifting me up considerably, I think that kit is just what the doctor ordered for me. Thanks for the info guys.
