i have a 98 srx 600 that i want 2 upgrade to a 700. if i am going to put money into pis, cyl, heads. i want to port the cyl. put after market pipes on it. would it be better 2 upgrade 2 a big bore kit. what would be the pro's and con's ? how much hp would i prop gain from the orig. 600 motor.

talk to bender if an 835 is possible.....I run this in my 03 mtn viper and AWESOME...to say the least...02

you can bigbore 600 stuff, it's not alot more work than a 700, I would recommend against going with aftermarket pipes tho, the only ones that have been found to make any more power are the bender big bore pipes, and those only under heavily modified circumstances (bigbore+porting)
