How would one go about bleeding the oil pump, and make sure it is working properly?
I had a bad check valve and back filled the oil res. with gas I have it all cleaned out but want to make sure I am now getting oil to the fuel pump, and get all the gas out of the lines I can not remove and blow out.
Thanks

Hey anyone, can someone tell me the proper bleeding procedure for the oil pump, I see there is a type of bleed valve coming up off the pump, do I just start it and open this valve until oil comes out?

I just had the same problem. Here's what it says in the manual. But it doesn't account for gas in the lines, so start this after you have cleaned everything out.
1. Fill Oil Tank
2. Remove carburetors
3. Place a rag under the oil pump assy to soak up any spilled oil.
4. Disconnect - Oil hose
5. Drain the oil until no more air bubbles are in the oil hose.
6. Connect - Oil hose
7. Disconnect Oil delivery hose
8. Feed the "YAMALUBE 2-cycle oil" into the oil delivery hose using an oil can for complete air bleeding
9. Connect Oil delivery hose
10. Remove - Bleed screw and its gasket (plastic washer)
11. Drain the oil until no more air bubbles appear from the bleed hole
12. Inspect Bleed Screw gasket, replace as necessary
13. Install Bleed Screw with gasket
14. Install carburetors
Hope this helps you out.
