I bought a 91 bravo 250 transporter. and im having a small problem, i have to squeeze the throttle half way before i can get it to move and yes theres a new belt on it so i know its not that its something to do with carburator
and also is there anyone out there that know all the specs on the carb for how many turns on the idle screw, air screw and throttle adjustment.
any help at all would be great.
and guys keep in mind to that im a amaturer at this so can u explain it like im 3 years old or something
thanks alot

my 03 VMAX had the problem this year and it was dirty clutches.
They were not engaging till about half throttle or about 6000rpm.
Took then apart cleaned then really good with scotch pads and hot water.

is that a one lunger or a twin? i had a twin once that you could barely tell (by the sound of it) that it was running off one cylinder, and when you gave it throttle it wouldn't budge till at least half throttle.

Had the sled been sitting for a while without being run? If so, the carb very likely needs cleaning. You could take it off and take it to a shop.
