I want to buy a wheel for a bench grinder to sharpen my carbides and would like to know what grit those that have used theses wheels before works best.My local auto parts store can get me the correct wheel for carbide steel but it comes in 4 different grits and I dont want one thats too aggressive or too light either.Has anyone here got one that works well?

the green carbide wheel you want is a 60 grit....anything above that (80, 100 and higher #'s) will take too long to remove stock....anything lower (40) would be considered aggressive, and remove alot of stock quicker....you could use a 40, just be aware of it....
