new vmax (bike, not sled)

ya they've been horsing around with a similar design for a couple years now, I think they where calling it the MT-1? only the MT-1 was a big single. I do really like the look of it tho, it's something very different in a world of mail-order choppers that all look the same.

I seen it yesterday and really thinking about trading in my R6 for one. Now I know what kind of bike I'm gonna get when I'm alittle older. It's FN hot looking :yam:

Cycle Canada had a mt-01 on the cover Jan 05. It was available in Europe and was a hot rod big bore v twin,1670cc.Warrior displacement. I also think they had a similar mt-06 which was a 660 single, similar to my Raptor engine.

ahh it's the MT-06 I was thinking of, damned sexy bike and it'd be a GREAT hooligan bike.

It's pretty cool. Has the look of the original to some extent. I have an '85 V-Max, and would seriously think about getting one of these.

Yamaha own Ohlins man. That's why most of the opposing superbike teams are reluctant to use them, but they've almost all caved and switched over now.

Agreed ;)!

Honda Superbike & FX teams are switching from Showa to Ohlins. On a side note in Yamaha tire testing the new FX R6 and Superstock R1 were quick enough to make the front row in the Superbike race. :WayCool: Bet Zemke and Duhamel wont have FX sewed up this year with Yammi and Kawi having factory supported bikes in the picure. :yrules:
