I was kinda hoping to find some one who had some used ones to try and save some $ on this since I've already got a bunch wrapped up into this clutch with parts that are more than likely wrong.
Sure wish it would snow so I could really find out though!

I bought to try in my sled but we haven't had any snow. I'm really not sure if they are enough weight for the triple but i would like to give them a go. Are you making any headway with your clutch issue?

Not without snow I'm not! Was supposed to go to the UP this past weekend but that fell thru last minute. Now we are thinking of going this coming weekend and I want to have some extra parts with me so I can change my set up if what I have in it now doesn't work.

Waterfoul, I just installed a set in my sled, if they don't work out I'll PM you. We just need some snow to do some testing.

Cool, thanks. I may just have to order some and bring them with me when we go up Friday after work... want them with me so I can change them out at the cabin... I doubt you will get to check yours before then. Hope they work out for you! I really don't want to pay full price for parts at the dealer that I may not even need... but there's the "just in case" factor that I just can't get out of my head!

they work very well on the triples and twins when set up correctly. Same profile as the 8CA, just lighter weight.

Don't settle for 8ca's. I have a set of those and under revved by about 300-400 rpms. Hopefully the lighter 8ab's will work.

Need a stronger primary spring if you don't have the power to pull them with the stock spring.

Was just to the dealer.... seems you can't even get an 8 AB weight at the moment. Even Yamaha of Japan is out of them...
Gonna call a couple other places to see if anyone has them in stock I guess.... since no one here seems to have a used set available other than from Canada... and I don't have time to wait for them to be shipped now... leaving Friday AM for the UP.

if you have the stock clutch cover on your sled you should have the short spring style.
