i Know my sled is up for a bit but i still need to do somthign to it.... I Put a lighter weight in the shoulder... Took out the Tip weight and put it in the middle and Still its not raising my rpms... This is on a heelClicker Kit for the piped viper mtn... i am Running the Red Spring, do i have to grind some weight off the tips of the clickers or somthing? i heard some people doing that.. i got Less weight, Moved Weight and Still nothing is changing as rpm wise.. Shes endaging at 4,700 and Pulling till around... 8,600-8,800 rpms, where the bad timing is on the viper.. i think thats what caused my engine to go.. Just before it seized the DCS ligth came on 3 times and then i blew a plug (i thought) changed them and still nothing and then it happend.. so im guesssing where she Ran hot and Expanded the piston into the Pto side Cylinder.. can anyone help me with this clutch setup, or will i have to get a Better Clutch kit???

Oh yeah, i dont know if this has anythign to do with it.. But my Secondary is Completly Stock..

The SLP,s like to run at 8700-9000 rpm. Remove the mid weight...by adding weight there & heel it will still bring down rpm,s. I would run heel & tip weight only & remove the mid totally. You can play around with these 2 spots & get rpm,s about perfect. What you do is remove all weight from centre. Add 2 grams to heel to bring down engagement. Play with tip weight to dial in rpm,s. This is just another way to play with these weights & it is the easiest.

its bender tripple pipes turk, also aj, you should try switching to the grey spring like i said that will let it rev more freely on top end than the red.

that's exactly what I was gonna say actually. you've got to much weight in there and the shoulder weight doesn't have a whole lot of effect on shift, you've got to pull some mass out of the weight itself, and I'd recommend pulling the center so as not to hurt your top-end.

A question in the same topic:

If he choose to take away the center bolt, and add some at the shoulder..
How many washer`s can be used at the shoulder (guessing he has the same "linkage shoulder type" wheights), without interference with the spider?

The instructions says 2, but i think i can use 3 or 4 total.. Just a little afraid to destoy something...
