My buddy was filling his 2001 SRX 700 with gas and he heard a pebble roll into the gas tank. Anyone know how to get this out...

well with a maglite and a grabber(long skinny tool that has little hands that come out and hang onto things), they are abut $2 at harbor frieght stores, you could fish it out thru the opening, if not, drain all the gas out and take the tank off and shake it upside down......

I hear it might be dangerous sucking fumes into a vacuum..Well it should just blow out..hmm Well if ya hear a big KABOOM comin from Ontario Canada you know it was...

YA THINK? look into the cooling slots on your shop vac when it's running, see all of those sparks coming off the brushes? WOHOWOHOHO WOOHOO WOOHOOHOO......man that would make a killer vonage comercial!!!!!!

yeah..it was a magic pebble...LOL umm this pebble from what I'm told was in the bottom of a jerry can...So it did not travel from the ground but from the red plastic can, to the yellow snoot, and then down to the gas tank..Hope that clears things up for ya..

had a friend a few years ago who thought he could vacuum spilled gas out of his trunk. burned up the electrolux, the car, and the garage. the fire guys saved the house.
