Has anyone sucessfully lightened up the rotor by gun drilling it?I know you can put only so many holes in something before it becomes too weak to be effective so I wondered if someone has tried this.A brake rotor would be one of those things you'd have to be very careful of so it wouldn't warp from the heat so I dont know if it's even possible to add even a few hole in strategic places to avoid that.Anyone?

I realize the concept behind rolling mass... but can you actually feel any difference with the .56 lbs removed???

probably not, but every little bit helps and when you do things like that to a few components you can feel it, and see results on the slips. ;)!

This is probably not for the average trail rider however, as yamaholic stated, it will help any racer. YOu cannot feel the difference with this one thing however, if you lighten up your driveline entirely, you will feel it.

Oh, I have NO intention of doing this to my trail sled.... was just wondering.... even my little 600 is fast enough in the trails.
