HELP SRX 700 DIED

my 98 srx 700 died on the trail today it acted like it droped a plug changed the plugs good too go for 3 mile same thing happened again idles fine won't rev out , on the way back too the truck it would come and go,back home checked fuel its good pulled the pipes and pulled the harnes out and fixed the tack wire that had wore through back together still the same .will the tack wire short out the cdi dox and run like that?carbs are clean pulled them too

Could it be the TORS....sticking...it will act funny like that and then come back to life...

Make sure the oil cable is put back togather....that will drop plugs as well

does it run any different with the choke on?

no chock dose not make a differance

will the power valve servio not working make it not rev up if they don't move,it idles fine and reves up too about 2500 when you give it to it ,it just studders

I had one of my power valve cables brake. Idle and ran perfect until about 70...then totally started to bog.
Don't know if that could be your problems, since you don't get near to that RPM and speed my did ??
Maybe if the servo motor is bad so all power valves are not opening???
