Can anyone provide a photo or some detail on the best tool to trim the lugs that are rubbing on my heat exchanger protectors? I just don't know where to buy one.

carpenters knife 

Tried that. Lugs were to soft. Kind of a pain in the a$$.

That's what I had in mind for this kind of job too... glad I don't have to do it though!
Just tried the tool MR recommends. Works perfect! No mess like a razor or knife.
