I just bought a heat exchanger for my 02 viper. How hard is this to install? Looking for some feed back on this. I am thinking that it may be a summer project. Let me know,

Which one? Front,rear,or sides?

if you are talking about the rear, it is not that hard at all. IMO every viper should have a rear exchanger added.
what kind of rear exchanger fits the viper without mods? SRX only?

I bought the rear exchanger. Sled had a bad problem last season with heating up. How easy is this? My sleds are stored along way from where I live. Dont like to go up and have to wrench when I could be riding. I already have to work in the Vmax 4 next weekend when I am there. (Need to install new rear shock.) Thanks guys!!

no the sx style fits as well, but it is less cooling capacity than the srx style

it was really easy: drop sled off at dealer - pickup sled at dealer give him 50 bucks...done.

I just installed one on the weekend...the Viper/srx one...the instructions where pretty
easy...a few new holes to drill(template included)..and a few rivets to take out...Bleeding was kinda tough to figure out...but I think she's dialed in now...
Had to take off the old Flap...time to accerise with a new one...hehehehe...
good luck
