I have a 1998 srx 600. I was riding it earlier this year
i was riding it and the temperature light came on and the sled just shut down. You can give it easy throttle and it will run but as soon as you would jam the throttle down the temp light would come on and shut down. I changed the temp sensor and now it still does the same thing except the lights are now flickering on and off before the sled shuts down. On the jackstand it will run up to 120 mph if you just steadily give it gas. But as soon as you jam the throttle down the sleds lights flicker, the temp light will sometimes come on and it shuts down. I went through the whole sled to look for bare wires and found none. I NEED SOME HELP PLEASE!!

its the harness under the motor, unless you unhook it up by hood and pull it back and out from under the engine your not gonna find it.
Did you happen to grass drag this sled this year? We gotta figure this wiring out so those POO-POO boys don't take any classes. We need this thing to run!!!!! Bring it over. Laurie's cuz.
