Bender pipes are the best for the non-powervalved 700.
Apparently they were even offered in the Yamaha accessory catalog
They fit perfectly and they are very durable (thicker steel, less rub through) than some of the copycat pipes.
They are good for about 25 horsepower gain at the top end.

Not owning a triple, but iv seen the Bender pipes and when compared to the others, they just look quality, and they sound really good. Not to mention the power difference you can really feel.

SLP's aren't bad either.

benders will get you the most power gain
Power Inc end dumps, will get you more power, and run 8400 rpm. They are louder than Benders, alot louder. But for power to $$ the end dumps are it. Maxdlx
ps the power incs where the first pipes offer through Yamaha as oem parts

I don't think any of them were bad. PSI had a decent set, CPR's had good top end too, but were a bit flat in the mid. AAENS are OK, run quiet and fit nice. The center dump Power Inc. were real thick in the midrange. Like I said, they all work good on that engine.
