Hi!
I've got a 2001 srx 700 that I bought last summer. When the engine is cold it runs fine but as soon as it gets warm on idle it starts miss firing. It seems to be on all cylinders. I've tried changing the spark plugs one cylinder at time and test it before change the next plug but after changing all plugs there is no difference.
I'm having it serviced on wednesday and hopefully they will find the problem. But I wanted to check here first to see if someone knows what the problem might be.

An update: The sled still doesn't work properly and the company doing the service hasn't found out what's wrong.
They've cleaned the exhaust ports etc. but the engine still dies when it get warm. They also checked the entire wiring and it checks out fine but the result is the same. The ignition coil is ok according to the test intruments when the engine is cold.
I'm thinking that the ignition coil starts "leaking" when it gets warm so the spark plugs doesn't get enough electricity.
Could that be whats wrong with my sled?
Anyone got a clue?

Have them test the stator when it is warm. Maxdlx

I agree with max, sounds like a stator problem.
