Can anyone tell me the best pipes for a 2001 SRX,the best power improvment and sound, i'm doing some searching for the one im buying in a few months, big plans for it and any other tunning tips for clutching and carbs would be great.

As for pipes on a srx, the ones under the hood from the factory are the best. Maxdlx
bored carbs work well on the srx you lose a little trottle response though but if your running the sled on the lake mostly I would bore the carbs but if your just trail riding leace them stock

yeah trail riding is mainly all i do, and if i dont get pipes ill just get a aftermarket can.
on the srx the aftermarket can's lose hp but sound nice.If your going to do any drag racing put the stock one back on.

i have a hauck growler triple pack silencer in my srx 600, sounds awesome(pretty loud). I guy i know dyno'ed a srx 600 with the stock can and the hauck can and he gained 2-3 horsepower. You will mainly see a gain on the low end but will lose up top.
