What's the advantage of using a dalton R helix vs a regular multi angle helix? Their website says the R's use a short initial angle, then act as a straight angle helix. How does this affect performance?

The R helix goes staright from 1 cut to another with no transition. The 1st cut will go about 1/3 of the ramp length of the helix. For the amount of testing I have done with both style of helix,s I really did not notice a huge diff except the r cut won,t hold back rpm,s as much as the regular cut.
