I installed a avant edge roller with a 51/43 helix @ 80 and I am 23/39 gearing with stock motor and primary. I weigh 200 lbs and i can only pull about 8000 sometimes 8200 rpm....should i be pulling a little higher...? should i mess with the primary..? Thanks in advance..

Go 1 gram less on inner rivet & 2 grams on tip. You sure that 51/43 is a roller or his regular helix? If it is his roller that thing will shift like a 61/53 & that is way too much helix.

Your right Turk...i double checked the helix and its a 47/41 and its what the guy at advant edge recomended along with changing to that gearing..so shuold i try the same as you recommended..? thanks

Remove 1 gram inner & 2 from tip.I would also use a silver secondary spring at 60 wrap with that helix...it won,t hurt performance & backshift will be way better cus that is a lot of helix.

Turk I was looking at the rivet selection and I think what your saying is put a 2.44 g in the tip and 2.7 g in the inner..?

Just get it close to that. Buy the nearest weight rivet & experiment with rpm,s. I can just get you close from a computer 1000 miles away.
