I have a small independent shop and I have A costumer that wants me to Teek his sled he gave me about a four thousand dollar allowance all he wants is a better riding sled and faster. I told him to go and buy a new sled because he just picked up this SRX and by the time he will be done its going to be a 7000.00 dollar sled. but money is no object to him so, what are the best mods I was thinking roller, cold air kit, reeds, clutching, and a bender Reaction Suspension looking for a good bang for the buck. I like to keep my costumers happy!! they make me money.

Trail port the engine, Bender or Xpert X rear skid & long travel the front. Use 00-02 primary weights (8dn-20)with an advant-edge(gotta be his helix) green secondary spring
I have the cold air kit on mine and i dont think it is worth the money or hassle to install it. Not to mention you have to cut the hood.
My thoughts
Put in a Expert X, Maxximum wide front end kit and revalved/shafted long travel viper shocks from Pioneer, SXR lightweight trailing arms from Mountain Performance, Mountain Max type GYT skis (wider), porting by MRVIPER700 along with either his clutching or TURK's or SRXMAGIC's, Boss flat top seat, Viper or some other wider handlebars on an articulating riser. There, I think the $4k is gone. God I love spending other peoples money!!!
Seriously though, if you want to see a photo of one with the suspension work done I just finished one. I already promised a photo to another guy on this site an I still havn't posted it. It ran the guy $3k without the porting work or Boss seat and no labor since he is one of my best friends and lives accross the street. SWEET sled now.

Yup, $4000 will go a long way. Get Mrviper700's porting and all your clutching for less than a grand. Expert X rear slid for $1400, cbperformance wide kit for $1200, and the rest for new skis or bar risers.

Get the whole package from Bender, including the porting.

Benders porting is alot more $$$ than Don's. So is their clutching.

Not the same porting.
