There has been a lot of talk lately about Ontario Trails being at risk of closing due to general liability insurance costs.
In 2000/2001 the cost per trail permit for general liability insurance was $3.00.
In 2003/2004 the cost per trail permit for general liability insurance was $41.00.
If you are an Ontario resident please print and mail the letter in the attached link (or at least email a copy) to your Member of Parliament.
If you live in the US but come to Ontario to ride you could edit the letter in the link to reflect that you come to Ontario to ride and email or mail a copy to the MPP in the area you ride. If you come to the Sault or to the Wawa area then send you letter to Mike Brown (MPP for Algoma), all his info is in the list on the attached link.
