is the tach accurate?

Are the tachs on the 2002 vipers accurate?

I know from my polaris analog gauge my tach was off by 200.

Was it 200 high or 200 low ?

On the polaris it was 200 high.

I checked my viper with a timming gun, and it was perfect.
