I haven't even got one mile on yet this season, such as it is,and I was just informed by the place I sent my Ohlins to be fixed(one bent shaft) and rebuilt that the replacement shaft for my shock was not in stock from Ohlins and it could be a month!!!!! WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This miserable season is just getting better all the time.I sent the shocks to a place in Ontario,as I live in Canada and I thought it would just be easier, with the expectations that it would be a couple of weeks at the most due mostly to the "speedy" service from Canada Post and now it looks like I'm screwed.I cant afford new shocks and even the set on Ebay are a bit out of my reach right now.
Does ANYONE have a short travel SRX style shaft or know of some place that might?I emailed Pioneer performance but haven't heard back yet and other than them I dont know who else to check with.HELP

Put a ell chepo kimpex on for now and ride it. Then keep kimpex around for a spare.

The last set of Ohlins I sent in for work (broke the top off) took a year to get fixed. But I was able to get a set of loaners to pass the time. I would post up in the garage sale area for a set of used shocks as well.
Take a look on ebay, plenty of shocks for sale there
do a search on here for B-Line control. He makes his own shafts, maybe he can hook you up. Maxdlx
When I busted my Ohlins last year I just had them mail me the parts (took 3-4 days I suppose) and had my brother rebuild the shock. Total downtime was less than 2 weeks, in which time I didn't ride the sled anyhow because I was away at school. You can get a set of KYB shocks relatively cheap for now, and just ride it with those until you get your Ohlin fixed. Just my .02
Who did you order the Ohlins parts through?A yamaha dealer or Ohlins themselves?I think I may just do that look for a set of KYB's for now I mean its f***in near February and mine is still in the shed from last spring.

shocks
I have 2 stock 2000 srx shocks laying on the floor of the garage that I am tired of tripping over. Could these hold you over?
