Installing new rings in viper - turning gaps??

where do you locate the ring gaps when installing new ones???

there are ring locating pins on the intake side of the piston, each turned oppositely about 20 degrees from the center of the intake side of the piston. You will see them when you pull the jugs, that is where the ring gap goes, the pins keep the rings from turning and catching a port.

you do realize there is an up and down too most rings also right?
