whats the higest HP sled uve had or seen????

That Would Have To Be Jeff Simons Cpr 500+ Hp Rx1.or Curt Mohawks Super Mod Drag Sled . Seen Simon Run 170.1 Mph In 1/4 Mi On Tar. Seen Kurt Run 168 Mph In 1000' On Ice.
 
definately.... i know that 250 is not even out of the question on any apex with a turbo/supercharger.... i spoke with a guy at MPI last fall, he said the boss there had an apex mountain with over 350 HP......
 
what is that thing thast just scary its not even a sled. its just a realy fast ladder with skies a track and a motor. maybe i could get them to come run teh raydar runs up here and beat that god dam moded polaris.
 
Ya the Rated R sled is one sweet ride. I saw it at the Toronto snowmobile show this year. Made me look at Arctic Cat a little different... but not much lol.
 
i was talking to chad( the owner of crracing and the sled) a week ago and he said he just twisted off another crank. that thing must have mad torque.
 
friend has a 98 xc 700. now has a genesis extreme 1500cc motor. he built (and I mean desinged and burnt the injection chips on his laptop) and fuel injection setup for it. has about 340-350 hp last I knew. o, and he lightened it to like 350 pounds orr something silly (longer it has been, the foggier I am on details) and he could trail ride it. it is/was insane. hasnt used it in a few years. has an apex GT now, waiting to see what he does there.
 
Back in the '60's and '70's they were putting turbine engines, blown car engines, and multiple snowmobile engines in all kinds of different chassis. There was the Rupp Super Sno-Sport with a 351 Cleveland, 525Hp. There was the Budweiser Sno-King with 4 Vmax-4 engines, 600Hp. There was another version of the Bud Sno-King with a blown 454 Chevy. I think the most horsepower I've seen in a sled is on this page: http://www.ascoa.org/exotic/exotic.htm Check out v8drag1, 2, and 3. That's a blown injected Arias Hemi twin track sled. I would guess 2000-3000 horsepower, depending on what fuel he's using. Also 3_v8drag shows 3 blown twin track sleds sitting side by side. God only knows what they had in them. The picture labeled "explode" is a turbine powered Arctic Cat that was capable of running 200mph.
