Viper-Rules!

Hi Guys. I was just wondering if a tiny bit of seeping from the viper water pumps is normal. The dealer looked at the pump, checked all of the hoses and told me all viper water pumps tend to seep a bit. I noticed last winter it would seep a bit of coolant onto the garage floor once in awhile. I have no snow to try it out and heading north in a few weeks. I just don't want this to be a problem. It seems to me it is coming out of a small weeping hole where the steel elbow for the coolant hose conects to the pump. I only find a tiny drop on it at times. Rest of the pump is dry. Any feedback is appreciated!

I was worried about the same thing,it has been 2 years now that it will seep just a bit on start up then soon as it is warm it seals it self up.i have a new seal kit and impellar sitting on the shelf just in case it starts to leak excessive
but i have never heard of these water pumps just letting go and dumping all the coolant out.
Great question though i hope others will give their feedback good or bad.

That was a common problem on the vipe,, put a new seal in if you think
it's bad enough.
