I need help setting up a 1999 Sx 600 suspension, The sled darts very bad and the rear susp. seems to do a lot of chattering. It has the quick rods on it and all the springs are set to the owners manual specs. I softened the rear adjustment to the "A" setting I believe, That seemed to help, I weigh 185 lbs. It has 144 studs and 6" carbides. Any help to get a better ride and steering will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Thanks!

For chattering from the track, do you mean ratcheting, like when under power, do the sprockets spin on the innier lugs in the track? If so, this is due to the rods and you will have to tighten the track up further.
For darting problems, check your toe in, this will be listed in your book and will most likely be 0.5" (difference from distance between front of skis - distance between back of skis). If your skis arent aligned, this is a big handling problem. Other than that, try taking load off the front skis by putting more on the rear susepension, ie/ set to stiffer spring rates.

It's not ratcheting, it's like riding on a wash board at times, the toe in is set exact.

How much of the front limiter strap bolt should be sticking out past the nut?
