Ah I see, I thought it was like a 10 year old.

just my opinion -
if you buy one of those you will be out whatever you paid eventually because I am afraid it will become junk.
If you spend the coin on a sno-scoot you will be abel to get your money back when you are done with it. The scoots do not go down in value.
Spend the extra cash and get a sno-scoot and you will be happier in the long run.
Like I said - just my opinion.......

I second that opinion. Not to crap on your Idea though, probably depends on how much he'll use it.
Is that a snow Fox?

I think it looks cools, but a sno scoot may be better if you can find a decent one for a fair price.
looks like a ching snow scooter. if you do a search on snow scooters you will find quite a few from china.
if they are anything like there four wheelers and mini bikes they will work good, break and then you wont find parts for them. most people that sell them just import the units not the parts.
buy a mini z style sled for the first sled. they are not as much to handle as a scoot. my daughter was riding her mini z at 4 no problem, also they last for ever and you will be able to get parts for ever. the cat version is a little better suspension then the mini.
the polaris is the eisiest to make look like a yamaha
the mini we have will pull 4 kids in a sled with two riding on it at the same time, tons of power

How old is your kid? Here's my suggestions by age:
4-5yrs =>Mini/kitty cat
6-8yrs =>SnoScoot
9-11yrs => 340 Enticer
12-15yrs => 440-500 Rev

That looks like a pocket sled, they madelots of pocket bikes in the last couple of years, My guess is they are trying to get another market.
I don't think so, buy something real.

Ha Ha Ha........Good one...........Find one at a decent price? Those thing have gone through the roof. It's down right stupid!! I've been looking for years but refuse to pay near full retail for a 18 year old sled.
I sure hope Yamaha comes up with a new entry level sled for the kids so it will smartin people up and bring these prices down.

ya- the snoscoots hold their value quite well-- a little too well. i'm sure they're nice rigs and hold up forever. seems like they'd be great for around the yard or short rides, but they don't look to have much wind protection-- if you wanted to take a fairly decent long ride in cold weather you'd probably be much better off with the mini-z style. yammy def. needs to put one out- maybe a mini- srx

my 6yr old is riding a Phazer II this year and doing very well,
he started riding a kitty cat on his 2nd birthday
I just limited the throttle and put a piece of pvc in the secondary to keep it from opening all the way seems to be working great
he said it will do a little over 35mph, but I had it up to 40 just keeping it pinned
